Internationally acclaimed EDM-producer Oliver Nelson rework the soulful single ‘Your Skin' from breaking new artist Murdo Mitchell Released September 7 on Icons Creating Evil Art

After a prolific year, which shas seen him release a flurry of exciting efforts including ‘Lies’, ‘Jaded’ and ‘Ghosts’, which garnered support from the likes of EarmilkWonderland and Ones To Watch, singer-songwriter Murdo Mitchell returned this spring his EP Aztec Jewel and the single 'Your Skin' which first was remixed by the platinum selling duo flora cash and now is getting reworked by the internationally acclaimed EDM-producer Oliver Nelson.
Producer Oliver Nelson may be from Sweden and has released music and remixes on various power houses in the EDM world, but he’s far from the kind of bottle-servicey house music mafioso that those things might imply. He’s got a taste for vintage disco and a subtle sensibility that have helped him rework tracks by Tove LoJustin TimberlakeMarina and the Diamonds and even Whitney Houston into rubbery electronic funk that avoid the full-blast sensory overload that a lot of pop-oriented dance music falls into. He has also collaborated with the likes of Kygo, Todd TerryZaynThe Kooks and many more, delivering a wildly eclectic array of offerings throughout his career.
Murdo Mitchell signed to ICEA in 2022 and the collaboration has seen him kick off his career, touring extensively; most recently his first headline UK tour in April this year, and also about to go on his second tour supporting his friend Dylan John Thomas in November.
Murdo Mitchell’s ‘Your Skin’ (Oliver Neolson Remix) will be released as co-main with Oliver Nelson and made available Worldwide from the 7th September via Icons Creating Evil Art.
