Murdo Mitchell recruits Norwegian producer WNDR for the new remix of ‘Ghosts’, out 10th February via Icons Creating Evil Art

llowing on from a stellar 2022, which saw him release a flurry of exciting efforts including ‘Lies’, ‘Jaded’ and ‘Your Skin’, which garnered support from the likes of Earmilk, Wonderland and Ones To Watch, singer-songwriter Murdo Mitchell now returns for 2023 with the explosive new remix for his standout offering ‘Ghosts’, courtesy of Norwegian EDM producer WNDR.
While the original kept to Mitchell’s shimmering aesthetic of roaring guitar hooks and a progressive direction, WNDR has added his own distinctive flair into the mix, delivering a fresh and energetic club-ready stomper. With the frontman’s euphoric vocals riding across a bouncing piano-led production, this revamped rework highlights the rich and buoyant texture both artists bring to this captivating new cut.
WNDR might still be unknown to the mainstream, but do not make the mistake of associating him with your typical up-and- coming producer. At 30 years of age, the Oslo-native has already put in two decades of work and gained a rep for himself in the club scene of his hometown, landed Top 10 tracks in Ireland / UK and toured heavily in Europe.
He went platinum in Norway with his debut single ‘Medicine’ with 5 million streams and still counting, and the song was also playlisted on Norwegian NRK P3. He later went on to release ‘Human’ that also went straight into NRK P3s playlist, ‘Higher (WNDR Remix)' by Lemaitre got playlisted on Kiss FM, played by Hardwell On SiriusXM, and got the attention of none other than Martin Garrix, found in his Spotify playlist Martin Garrix Favorites.
Murdo Mitchell will also embark on a headline UK tour in April this year, with support from Luke La Volpe*. See below for the full list of tour dates.
