Led by vocalist and songwriter Martha Davis, The Motels helped define the sound of Los Angeles new wave with hits including "Only the Lonely," "Suddenly Last Summer" and "Total Control." Their music combines atmospheric rock, pop melodies and Davis's distinctive voice, reaching successive generations through touring and film and television placements. Following 2018's The Last Few Beautiful Days, the band are preparing their ninth studio album.
