ABU NEIN
Emerging from Malmö, Sweden, ABU NEIN have become one of contemporary darkwave's most distinctive voices. Combining post-punk tension, minimalist electronics and cinematic soundscapes, they create music where darkness and vulnerability coexist, led by Erica Li Lundqvist's unmistakable vocals.
Debut album Secular Psalms (2020) was nominated at the Swedish Manifest Gala and won the Synthsläggan award for Best Swedish Debut Album. Following the critically acclaimed II (2023), III: Dark Faith (2024) further expanded the band's hypnotic universe and received the Manifest Gala award for Best Swedish Synth Album.
ABU NEIN have built an international reputation through intense live performances across Scandinavia and Europe, appearing at festivals including Wave-Gotik-Treffen, Amphi Festival, NCN Festival, Prague Gothic Treffen, Subkultfestivalen and Kalabalik på Tyrolen. They have shared stages with KITE, The Legendary Pink Dots, Minuit Machine, Linea Aspera and She Past Away, while collaborating with artists including Alexander Hacke, Pablo Bozzi, Blind Delon, Covenant, Henric de la Cour and Tobias Bernstrup.
