Swedish producer duo PAPA Sound continues their Skull Edit series! This time with legendary Jamaican Dancehall/Reggae star Red Fox and a remix of the single 'Everybody Rock' OUT NOW! On Icons Creating Evil Art

The PAPA Sound Skull Edits, is a series of interesting remixes utillizing previously released collaborations.
They're to be considered as treats to the listeners who appreciate exploring alternative realities, the what if's and what could've been if the production had taken a different turn, in it's early stages...
In this episode, Patrik Arve and Paolo Albo takes us back to their 2022 release, featuring no other than the late 90's Dancehall legend - Red Fox!
Born in Saint Andrew, Jamaica raised in Saint Catherine, then migrating to New York City, Red Fox is the embodiment of dancehall and reggae. His distinguished gritty sound and his explosive energy was what instantly attracted Producer Peter McKenzie who went on to produce the first official Red Fox record , “Come Boogie Down” as well as the anthem “Down in Jamaica”. Red Fox would then team up multi-platinum selling producer Sting International, who helped break Fox into the multi-ethnic market and Phillip Smart who would catapult Fox to the mainstream by producing the smash hit “Pose Off” which ultimately landed Fox a deal on Elektra Records.
He is the first dancehall artist to appear on the Jay Leno Show. He also helped to bridge the gap between Reggae and Hip Hop collaborating with legendary rap group Brand Nubian on the track “Hey Mr. Rude Bwoy”. He has won numerous “Reggae Artist of the Year” awards and his works have been used in films, video games, and commercials.
PAPA SOUND is a Swedish producer duo focused on creating bass driven, dancehall, afrobeat, and reggae tunes. Founded by Patrik Arve and Paolo Albo, Papa Sound became a duo in the year 2020. The name PAPA comes from their given names initials Paolo Albo and Patrik Arve. In their songs, they vent the issues and passions they have in common, from social injustice or environmental issues to just their love for music
“Usually we are looking for the spark in the gap between different genres. For us, 90% of good music is all about the attitude. It's more important than your actual "skill". Hence our love for punk, hip-hop and reggae. We are baking outernational musical biscuits full of bass and riddim. The vocals are, at this point, made by guests from Jamaica or Africa and is considered the icing on the cake.”
Patrik Arve is one third of the award winning group Teddybears with hits like “Cobrastyle” featuring the Jamaican Mad Cobra, the song has the song has at this point 50 million streams. Arve and Teddybears have made songs with Beenieman, Ninjaman, Elephantman, Busy Signal, Cutty Ranks, Ward 21, Wiley, Kano, Ghetts, Iggy Pop, Eve, Robyn, Neneh Cherry to name a few.
