EMMON launches the ICONMIXED era with SIIE's reimagining of Speak to Me --- Remix release June 26th on Icons Creating Evil Art

Following the success of her acclaimed album ICON, Swedish electro queen EMMON opens a new chapter with the release of Speak to Me (SIIE Remix) on June 26 via Icons Creating Evil Art. The track marks the first glimpse of ICONMIXED, an upcoming remix album featuring reinterpretations of songs from ICON, set for release on October 23.

Originally released as the opening single from ICON, Speak to Me introduced a new era for EMMON. Co-produced with Jimmy Monell (KITE), the track combined pounding EBM rhythms, rave-infused energy and melodic electronics into a fierce anthem aimed at breaking free from toxic beauty ideals and societal expectations. It quickly became a fan favourite and a cornerstone of EMMON's live performances throughout her extensive touring cycle.

Now, the song takes on a new form through the hands of SIIE, the Swiss-German electro duo whose distinctive blend of darkwave, techno and EBM has earned them a rapidly growing reputation across the European underground scene.

Rather than simply updating the original, SIIE pull Speak to Me deeper into the shadows. Their remix amplifies the track's hypnotic qualities, weaving EMMON's commanding vocals through driving techno pulses, darkwave textures and atmospheric electronics. The result is both club-focused and cinematic — a reinterpretation that feels equally at home on a late-night dancefloor and within the dystopian world that defines both artists' aesthetics.

"Emmon was one of our earliest supporters, and it's an honor and great fun to have had the chance to remix Speak to Me," say SIIE.

With Speak to Me (SIIE Remix), two of Europe's most compelling dark electronic acts meet on common ground — creating a powerful bridge between EMMON's iconic original and the evolving world of ICONMIXED.

Based in Hamburg, SIIE have become one of the most exciting new names within contemporary dark electronic music. Blending French-language vocals with elements of darkwave, techno and EBM, the duo create immersive audiovisual experiences inspired by dystopian themes, emotion and cinematic storytelling. Following the release of their debut album ACMÉ in 2025, they have toured extensively across Europe, including performances at Amphi Festival, NCN Festival and as direct support for Nitzer Ebb.

For EMMON, the remix represents the first step into ICONMIXED, a project that invites a new generation of electronic artists to reinterpret the album's themes, emotions and sonic landscapes. Much like ICON itself explored identity, beauty ideals, empowerment and self-expression through EMMON's unique blend of electronic body music and contemporary club culture, ICONMIXED expands that universe through a diverse collection of creative voices.

Since its release, ICON has further cemented EMMON's position as one of Scandinavia's most celebrated artists within the dark electronic scene. Renowned for her explosive live performances and uncompromising artistic vision, EMMON continues to push her sound forward while remaining deeply connected to the underground culture that has embraced her throughout her career.
