Ellen Benediktson drops new single “Catch Me” - A throwback pop bop about playing the cool girl Released Nov. 6th on Icons Creating Evil Art

Ellen Benediktson Drops New Single “Catch Me” - A Throwback Pop Bop about Playing The Cool Girl. “Catch Me” marks Ellen Benediktson’s third release of the year, and just like her previous single ”Maniac”, this song delivers a powerful drive that’s bound to resonate with listeners. Drawing on the dynamic essence of 80s pop, the song’s combining shimmering synths and driving beats with a modern twist. With Ellen’s distinctive vocals soaring over the track, she delivers a performance that’s as captivating as it is emotive, with a chorus that is hard to forget.
”You’re never gonna catch me” sings Ellen and in a relatable theme about running away from love to not get hurt. ”There was a time in my life when I said I wasn’t a ”relationship kinda girl. I thought you needed to keep your guard up at all times and always be ready to run so I made it my identity” says Ellen. ”Catch Me is the character I played for many years. Thinking I could protect myself if I played it cool. But that never really works, does it?” The song is written by the artist herself, Linnea Deb, Andreas Lindbergh, Dino Medanhodzic and Maja Ivarsson (The Sounds)
”Catch Me” is set to be released on November 6th via Icons Creating Evil Art
