Dallas visionary Ishi and Cure For Paranoia get a deep club rework from house veteran Demarkus Lewis. So Serious (Demarkus Lewis Remix) Out November 21st via Icons Creating Evil Art

Dallas visionary Ishi and Cure For Paranoia’s Cameron McCloud get a deep club rework from house veteran Demarkus Lewis. Lewis transforms the dark, cinematic original into a hypnotic late-night groove — pulsing basslines, eerie synths, and smoky, after-hours energy built for underground dance floors.

On So Serious Texas visionary Ishi joined forces with Cure For Paranoia — a menacingly hypnotic Halloween anthem where techno, rap, and horror collide. Originally released October 31 via Swedish indie powerhouse Icons Creating Evil Art, the single merged eerie synths, thunderous basslines, and razor-sharp bars into a cinematic late-night descent that’s equal parts Friday the 13th and Warehouse Rave.

Described by Ministry of Sound as a pioneer of “Dallas Disco,” Ishi continues to evolve his hybrid of nu-disco, house, and darkwave influences with a distinctly emotional edge. Following his recent singles I’m A Mystic and Fall Into Me, So Serious reveals a heavier, more shadow-drenched dimension to his sound — a perfect fit for the haunted season.

Demarkus Lewis has proven to be one of today's most sustainable House Music artist with over 1500 published tracks to date. Hailing from his hometown of Dallas, Tx he has worked with several top labels as well as helped establish many new imprints with his signature sound.

So Serious (Demarkus Lewis) is available on all platforms November 21st.
